For those who have grinded Kjarr bows during high rank, you will be most rewarded.

Kjarr bows have very good stats that rival most master-rank early game bows and the innate critical element allows you to make master rank armour to improve survivability.

Universal entry build template for Kjarr bows.

This set is accessible very early into Iceborne. 

However, my personal opinion is that high-rank end game sets with health boost 3 will be equally good defence wise but deal significantly better damage. 

And similar to other sets within this album, they are completely optional if you are confident in your skill and prefers high-rank end game sets instead.

Mid MR build template.

Used by all Kjarr bows interchangeably. 

This set can be made at MR 13 upon reaching the 4-star quests. 

If you think you're gonna struggle with the coming elder dragons with high-rank gear. 

This is a good point to make a transition. 

 If you don't have Kjarr bows and you still want to do damage. 

 You will have to stick to HIGH RANK 2 piece Rathalos until Velkhana for crit element. 

Using master rank bows without crit elements matches the damage of high-rank mid-game builds. 

However, since master rank monsters have on avg 3 times the hp value of high-rank monsters, if you are already struggling in high rank. Please proceed with this option at your own risk.

This set is accessible very early into Iceborne.

Mid MR build template.

Directly after killing Velkhana. 

You can replace the Rathalos 2 piece with Velk 2 piece and slot in the decos accordingly. 

And begin working towards the mid-game transitional sets. 

Watch out for Safi 

And the siege itself rewards a handsome sum of Master Ranks so you could reach the MR 70 goal: Silver Rathalos quicker.

A standard Nami 2 piece + Velk 2 piece set will look something like this. 

Although this build doesn't look too bad when you have a level 5 elemental charm. You won't be able to access high-level elemental charms until the mid-late game. 

This will cripple the build with a much lower affinity than the Garuga variant in the early mid-game. 

On top of that, the Nami set bonus being conditionally really hampered the potential benefit of the 60 bonus elements. 

Overall, it won't perform as good as the Garuga leg variation of transitional builds. I wouldn't recommend this unless you are a huge fan of high stamina surge levels.
